I love the corset feature of this dress. I could adjust the tightness so the bodice contoured my figure. I have a large bust and small waste so I had the strings drawn tight. They can easily be drawn to fit you with no alterations needed. Modesty panel in the back covers your skin under the draw strings and allows for further extension of the bodice. To give you a better idea of dimensions.... I have a 44" bust and a 34" waste. Both can be extended or reduced in this dress.
I'm 5'7" and with a 2" heal this dress just barely grazed the ground. No alterations to the hem would be necessary if you're of a similar height or love to wear stilletos.
The bodice and underskirt are satin, with a tulle overlay on the skirt. The bodice also has a gem/bead pattern running from the start of the skirt, diagonally towards the neck line.
The pictures shown are without any additional undergarments. Bra cups are built in with boning along the bodice for support. I'm not wearing a slip to add volume. The dress has sown-in crenoline to maintain it's A-line sillouette.
